Biografía
Vanessa Sosa, FNP, treats patients at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial Medical Office Prenatal Care. Vanessa, who grew up in Lodi, joins the prenatal practice after years of providing patient care for outpatient clinics, hospital and the emergency department at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial. She has always had an interest in helping others and practicing medicine has allowed her to combine her passions of advocating for others while providing patient education and disease management.
“I love getting to know my patients and their families” Vanessa explains. It is her mission to provide compassionate and comprehensive care, customized to each patient she treats.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Probably not. She ordered labs for me (blood tests, stool tests) which were understandable considering my symptoms. She also ordered multiple tests for a variety of sexually transmitted diseases, which we did not notice until we got home with the lab order. I felt that this was very inappropriate. She did not mention anything to me about these types of testing being requested and since I am not sexually active yet, I feel this was totally inappropriate and overstepping of her role. She should have been open about her testing plans and explained them to me instead of doing it in an underhanded and sneaky way.
