Vanessa Smith, NP

Vanessa Smith, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner specializing in urology. After finding herself in a tech role after college, Vanessa began reflecting on what she truly wanted in her career: meaningful, hands-on work centered around helping others. Nursing aligned perfectly with these goals. After several years as a bedside nurse in the emergency department, she decided she wanted to provide more comprehensive care as a nurse practitioner. 

Vanessa shares that her faith guides her to lead with compassion, integrity, and respect for her patients’ dignity. “I love what I do because it allows me to make a real difference during some of the most vulnerable moments in people’s lives,” Vanessa says.

Originally from Stockton, Vanessa has been married to her husband for three years. They have one son, Jack, one daughter, Ellie, and a goldendoodle, Mookie, their first “baby."
