Tyler Laubach, DO

A board-certified physician, Tyler Laubach, DO, provides personalized care and treatment for all ages. Along with wellness visits, sick visits and preventive care, Dr. Laubach provides prenatal care, surgical obstetrics and deliveries, women’s health, family planning., and treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes and asthma.

Dr. Laubach grew up in a small town surrounded by farmland in eastern Pennsylvania. While in high school and college, he went on mission trips overseas and saw firsthand how healthcare can impact people’s lives for the better. That’s when he decided to pursue a career in medicine.

What Dr. Laubach loves the most about his role is the ability to make a difference. “Medicine is really about getting to know people and using what I’ve learned to make even a small positive difference in someone’s life,” Dr. Laubach says. “Whether that’s caring for a whole family, walking alongside someone during a difficult time, or delivering a baby — those moments matter.”

Delivering babies remains one of Dr. Laubach’s favorite part of the job. “It’s such a privilege to be part of that moment for families,” he shares. “It never gets old.”

With many options for communities to serve, Dr. Laubach and his family were drawn to Ukiah for its small-town feel, natural beauty, and the palpable sense of community. “I grew up in a town very similar to Ukiah. When I visited during Homecoming week, I felt the sense of community and loved seeing the town come together,” he shares. “The mountains, the walkable downtown, cultural diversity and the closeness to the coast all attracted me to this area.”

Away from work, Dr. Laubach loves running and spending time with his wife and young children. He also enjoys exploring local landscapes and connecting with the people and places of beautiful Mendocino County.
