Biografía
Board-certified nurse practitioner Tina Jimenez, FNP-C, cares for patients from birth through the senior years and provides preventative health care, chronic condition management, and women’s health services.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Fresno Pacific University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University – Bakersfield.
Tina’s grandmother suffered from chronic kidney disease and when she was eight years old, she went with her grandmother to one of her dialysis appointments. What she saw there resulted in “immediately falling in love with medicine.”
“The nurses were so kind, and their dedication to their profession allowed me to have many more years with my grandmother,” she said. “The only way to ever repay their act of kindness, love, and dedication was to pay it forward and help care for others and their loved ones.”
As a native Californian and daughter of a migrant fam laborer, she feels privileged to be part of the community. “Knowing and understanding the language and culture enables me to be the voice and advocate for this underserved population,” she said.
Tina has four children and two labradoodles. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends bowling, seeing movies, traveling and more. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

She is always annoyed and that makes a patient feel uncomfortable. I personally will not return with this doctor this last visit was one of the worst because of the annoyed faces she was making when all I needed was a referral because the hanford clinic told me I needed a new one.
