He is also certified in hyperbaric treatments, wound care, and TCAR, a minimally invasive procedure that treats narrowed carotid arteries. Dr. Karamanukyan was born and raised in southern California and is fluent in English and Armenian. He loves the community that Adventist Health White Memorial serves and considers his patients and their families the highlight of his practice. What drew Dr. Karamanukyan to vascular surgery were the technical aspects of the operations as well as the pivotal role he plays in his patients’ longevity and well-being.
