Tegpal S Atwal, MD

Dr. Atwal brings vast training and experience in all types of gastroenterology and hepatology and is a welcome addition to the medical staff at Adventist Health St. Helena. He received his medical degree from Davanand Medical College in Ludhiana, India and brings more than 16 years in practice. He completed his internship and residency at Lincoln Medical Center/Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, New York and a fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been involved in many research studies and has been published in medical journals around the globe. More important, he has received very high praises among his patients and colleagues.
