Biografía
Teddy Mumu, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine. “I am privileged to work along with patients to support them through all phases of life,” he says. “Whether that is optimizing health, treating sickness or even providing a listening ear, I am grateful to be part of the journey.”
Dr. Mumu’s love of science combined with a mission-focused mindset inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare. “I found that with medicine I could continue the journey of lifelong learning and also be a serving presence in the community,” he shares. “Being a physician puts me in a unique position to be a healing force.”
After earning his medical degree at Loma Linda University Health in Loma Linda, California, Dr. Mumu completed his residency in internal medicine at the same location. Passionate about providing care that helps patients achieve better health and wellness, he offers a wide range of primary care services at his Parkrose practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Mumu enjoys playing sports like basketball and football. He relaxes by sketching, painting, listening to music and watching films. And he loves exploring the Portland area to find new hiking trails and fresh places to eat.

Dr. Mumu is a gem! He's kind, compassionate, and attentive. He has a consistent track record of taking my health concerns more seriously than I myself do lol, and I say that as a young woman with multiple stigmatized diagnoses. I have already recommended him to my friends who are searching! 1000/10 recommend, 12/10 stars :)

Not very warm and welcoming. Too much "business" in his treatment and not observant of nonverbal when concerned or anxious. No follow up recommendations other to schedule another appointment if no improvement.

Dr. Mumu answered many of my questions. I now understand why chest xrays are not recommended often at a certain age due to radiation exposure. He encouraged me to see a spine specialist for possible injections to lessen my back pain and alleviated my concern about the dangers. He took the time to go through my entire list of concerns and gave me Invaluable feedback. It was an excellent appointment!

I love Dr. Mumu. He listens to what I have to say and really talks to me about my concerns. I have been to so many Dr's who can be condescending about my concerns and can be dismissive, but Dr. Mumu is not like that at all. He's been taking great care of me since I started my care with him. I even recommended him to my husband and now he sees him too.
