Scarlett Elizabeth Harris Carder, CNM

Scarlett is a certified nurse midwife and a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with a clear mission: “I’m passionate about education and preventative care and its role in healthy pregnancies, births and lives,” she says. She focuses on supporting and empowering her patients to make educated decisions about their healthcare. 

Patients ages 12 and above come to Scarlett for a variety of services, such as well-woman care, adolescent care, prenatal care, screening for sexually transmitted infections, irregular menstrual cycles and birth control. She is also trained as a surgical first assistant for cesarean section. 

A native of San Luis Obispo, Scarlett shares a home with her husband and their dog. She is a former soccer player and triathlete who enjoys running, hiking and spending time with family. Scarlett is fluent in English and Spanish.
