Biografía
Rebecca Rivera, MD is board-certified and has specialized in obstetrics and gynecology for 30 years. Dr. Rivera exemplifies a deep-seated dedication towards enhancing women's health across Kern County. Her areas of expertise include well woman exams, obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, contraception, and menopause.
She was born in Southern California. Her passion for practicing medicine came from her love of bringing life into this world and improving women’s health. Her goal is to treat each patient with kindness and respect. Dr. Rivera received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles, and she completed her OBGYN residency at Kern Medical in Bakersfield, California.
Dr. Rivera fluently speaks Spanish and is currently seeing patients ages 12 and up. She is married and has four children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, listening to music, traveling and making people happy.

Dr is great but wait times during appointment are ridiculously long. This appointment could have easily been done over the phone and saved me an hour drive to Bakersfield.
