Biografía
As a certified physician assistant, Poonam is able to diagnose illness, prescribe medication and provide a broad range of other patient care services. She sees adult patients for such issues as colon screening, GERD (acid reflux), diverticulitis, H. pylori infection, SIBO, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diarrhea and constipation. She has also worked as a physician assistant in the field of pain management.
Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, Poonam was inspired by her mother to enter the medical field. Poonam’s compassionate approach to individualized care helps her patients feel comfortable and supported with their healthcare needs. Poonam is fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi and Newari.
