Board-certified family medicine physician Nikita Shetty, MD, provides a full range of care for each member of the family, including wellness checks, treatment for routine illnesses and injuries, management of acute and chronic disorders and diseases, and behavioral health needs such as anxiety and depression.
A focus on preventative care is important to her, and she is dedicated to providing a lifetime of care for the whole family. She counsels patients on a wide range of lifestyle choices and works with them to set reasonable long-term health goals while she offers her encouragement every step of the way.
For patients with conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, she partners with them to assess and monitor their health with the goal of maintaining the healthiest quality of life possible. The doctor told me to eat healthier and not go out to eat without actually asking me about my dietary habits. Just because I'm overweight doesn't mean I'm getting fast food every day, and that's very frustrating. I also felt like there wasn't that much interest in getting to know me as a new patient.
