Dr. Manreet Basra is a board-certified cardiologist with experience in managing routine cardiac issues, specializing in adult congenital heart disease and cardiology issues for women. Her clinical training revealed the medical profession’s tendency to under-treat and under-diagnose heart disease in women which created a special interest and passion for helping these unique populations. Dr. Basra appreciates and understands the enormous impact that preventive and interventional strategies can have on an individual's health. She prioritizes her patients’ care and states, “My goal is to provide comprehensive medical care along with social and emotional support. Heart disease in women can present variably, so I teach women how to recognize heart disease and deliver timely treatment to prevent long-term disabilities. My mission is to change all my patients’ health for the better by working closely with them, for them!”

She rushes through appointments. She only gives the most basic explanation of things ie "your test was normal". No details provided and based on previous interactions with her I don't feel she wants to go into detail.

My appointment was a consultation appointment. It just felt like a whirlwind of an appointment. A battering of tests need to be performed. Dr.Basra was extremely nice, but this was my first contact with her as a specialist. With any physician, except my personal general practitioner, all others seem so very busy.
