Biografía
We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay Helvey, FNP to our Family Practice team. Lindsay has experience caring for newborns and families, as well as critically and chronically ill patients. Her depth of experience is one of the many strengths she brings to her role as a family nurse practitioner.
When we heard of Lindsay’s heart for volunteerism, we knew she would be a great fit for our community. She has volunteered as a rural village nurse in Africa where she took on many roles. She preformed wound care services, lead HIV/AIDS education and support groups, volunteered in a near by district hospital and provided emergency and on-call services. Lindsay also knows the value of education and overall health as she is the co-founding school teacher for the Watoto wa Rau school in Tanzania.

It's very clear that Lindsay cares about her patients as whole persons, not just particular problems. My husband had what he thought was asthma for many years, but it was Lindsay who ordered the ECG that showed his AFib and immediately sent him to the ER which started his care with specialists at Adventist Heart Institute. Lindsay has become our most trusted care giver and we prefer to keep her as our primary care provider.
