Lawrence N Allenger, NP

Board-certified family nurse practitioner Lawrence N. Allenger, FNP-C, focuses on preventative health, disease management and health education in his practice.

“I want to help patients in our community be more informed about their health and disease processes,” said Lawrence. “This helps patients become more of an advocate for themselves and make better choices for a healthy, active lifestyle.”

Lawrence earned his master’s degree in nursing from Fresno Pacific University and bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, Fresno, graduating magna cum laude. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

He is dedicated to treating his patients like he would family and said, “By paying attention to the smallest details, being respectful and having patience, I am able to make the biggest impact in patients’ lives. In the end, treat others as you want to be treated no matter the situation or circumstance.”

When not caring for patients, Lawrence enjoys spending time with his family. “I love being with my wife and two children,” he said. “They are the engine of my heart.”
