Lauren Arbetman, MD

Lauren Arbetman, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in gastrointestinal minimally invasive and robotic surgery from Keck Hospital of USC. She specializes in foregut conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, and small intestine. Dr. Arbetman is committed to walking alongside her patients through their health challenges to relieve their pain and improve their quality of life.

Serving patients ages 18 and older, Dr. Arbetman treats conditions such as paraesophageal (esophagus) hernias, acid reflux, stomach tumors, esophageal disorders, intestinal tumors, inguinal (groin) and other abdominal wall hernias, gallbladder disease, and more.

A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Arbetman is a former professional equestrian who competed in show jumping. She enjoys horseback riding, snorkeling, and snowboarding. She and her spouse share their home with two huskies. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish.
