Biografía
Krysta Wolken, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. She has served the Sonora community since 2014, first in the emergency department, then in women’s health. Now, Krysta’s practice focuses on cancer genetics and palliative care.
Krysta considers it a privilege to partner with patients. “I feel honored to serve, care for, and treat the amazing people in this community,” Krysta says. “I work through God’s hands. My faith helps me with patients in their time of needed spiritual healing.”
Krysta has deep roots in Tuolumne County and is a sixth-generation Sonora resident. She met her husband while serving as a plane captain and intel specialist in the United States Navy. Together, they have two children, three dogs, and one cat. In her spare time, Krysta enjoys running, beekeeping, gardening, earning her pilot’s license, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Krysta was very thorough ,personable , kind , and knowledgeable. She took time to address all of my concerns and explain my condition in great detail complete with drawing of a diagram to help explain what was happening with my body. She explained all of my options and followed through with referrals . I was very fortunate that she could fit me into her schedule!
