How long as a physician: I became board-certified in family practice in 2002.
Family info: I live with my two delightful children, husband and mother-in-law.
Hobbies: I enjoy exploring new places, playing piano, making collages, playing with my children and building things with my son.
Why I enjoy family medicine: I love the full spectrum of family medicine. Each day is totally unique. You never know what you’ll see in the next room – a pregnant woman, the baby I recently delivered, a 95 year old or a family room spanning three generations of patients.
The privilege of getting to know these families and how they interact with each other and the community provides the dimension of caring for the person – not just the patient. Having the opportunity to pass the torch of knowledge to the next generation of physicians keeps the passion of medicine burning strong.

Dr. Fordham is wonderful, she doesn't make me feel bad when I'm trying to explain things to her, I love her, she is a wonderful caring Dr. Who truly cares about her patients.The nurses practitioner is wonderful. She listens to everything we say. She make sure it gets wrote down right,. She's just a very, very wonderful lady.
