Dr. Miller didn't even acknowledge my concerns when I said I have mast cell disorder and have also been dealing with Long Covid for bc almost 6 years. No answer. Just surprise that I need time to research whether cataract surgery Is safe for me; by then I already had a migraine from being In an environment with so many chemicals & scents for almost 90 minutes. I usually ask my husband to come with me to appointments. This time I was alone and felt unseen. The technician doing the measuring insisted I take my mask off. That is not safe for me with my immune challenges. She did put a mask on herself, when I insisted, but did not even acknowledge how risky it was for me to take mine off.

Doctor Miller needs some lessons on explaining and how he delivers the diagnosis. I am telling everyone about how I was treated. I left this office defeated.

I came in with a concern and was told by Dr Miller, before letting me explain it that he did not need to look at my eyes. I over spoke him and made him listen and he condescendingly said OK, I'll take a look. It turned out I had a valid issue, but was told not much could be done about it and he offered no real explanation or path going forward beyond living with it. I did a search on "Dr. Google" and the Mayo Clinic had an article that said the condition could be an indication of other things wrong and that there were various treatment options once the source of the cause, in other places in the body, was determined. I will look elsewhere for eye care in the future.

Dr Miller spoke quickly and seemed impatient with follow up questions. He tried to show me pictures after my eyes were dilated so I really could not see them well. He recommended a treatment product but did not clarify if it was the general name of the product or a brand name.
