Keren J Akakpo, PA

Keren Akakpo, PA-C, cares for patients with a range of bone and joint conditions and assists during surgeries. Before relocating to Sonora, Keren completed a surgical physician assistant residency gaining expertise in orthopedics, robotic surgery, and acute care surgery. 

Keren has a love for learning and bringing joy to others. These passions, along with her desire to care for communities in need, led her to a career in medicine. Keren prays for wisdom to offer her patients the best treatment approaches. She believes in caring for every patient as though they were her family member. 

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Keren spent the last six years in Lexington, Kentucky. She enjoys cooking, traveling, going to concerts, visiting lakes and oceans, and spending time with her loved ones.
