Biografía
Joseph Vincent Maddela, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician passionate about making a positive impact in his patients’ lives.
He was inspired to pursue medicine after seeing firsthand the difference skilled and empathetic doctors can bring to the patient experience. He strives to bring that same level of care to his patients.
He cares for patients from infancy through the senior years. In addition to treating chronic and complex conditions such as obesity, hypertension, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), he provides preventative care, including school physicals, well woman exams, adult wellness checks and health counseling.
He is most fulfilled seeing his patients feel heard, cared for and regain their health.
Originally from Bakersfield, he loves that his work allows him to bring comfort and healing to others in his community during difficult times. He is most fulfilled seeing his patients feel heard, cared for and regain their health.
Outside of the office, he enjoys learning about DIY car maintenance and is a big lover of animals.

Dr Maddela is a Fantastic doctor I am very happy to be seeing him. I would gladly recommend him to one that asks about a good Dr in our area. He respects you & takes the time to listen we weren't getting that before He is very much needed there & make a huge difference in the Office overall & with the changes of employees is all helping greatly It definitely needed that & the refresh in the office was also needed it had looked exactly the same since they opened the new office. Thank you Adventist Health for the changes your making we truly appreciate it as long term payments.
