Biografía
Dr. Kai Yamaguchi is a highly sought-after board-certified general surgeon with expertise in robotic-assisted surgery. His practice covers the broad scope of general surgery with particular interest in hernias, colorectal cancer and diseases, gastric cancer and masses, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, biliary cancer and dialysis access.
Dr. Yamaguchi completed a residency at the University of Maryland Medical System and a fellowship in multi-organ transplantation at Emory University Hospital. He has more than 15 years experience in transplantation and an impressive background in leading surgical and transplant programs. He has also served in the United States Army Reserve as a lieutenant colonel and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge, and Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal. Dr. Yamaguchi’s passions include spending time with his children, cooking and kiteboarding.
