John R Garcia, MD

John R. Garcia, MD, is a board-certified surgeon providing evaluation and treatment for elective and emergent conditions such as hernias, hemorrhoids, and gallbladder issues. He was inspired to practice medicine because of a desire to help patients and provide quick improvement in their health.
Dr. Garcia earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and then completed a surgical residency at New York Medical College in New Rochelle, where he served as chief resident. He finished his postdoctoral training with a fellowship in laparoendoscopic surgery at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.
He is fellow of the American Board of Surgery and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and American Medical Association.
