Biografía
Dr. Leibe is a board-certified general surgeon who cares for children and adults, ages 3 and older. She will be caring for patients in our general surgery medical office and performing procedures at our hospital, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley.
She will also serve as the hospital’s Trauma Medical Director, leading the effort towards Level III accreditation for the Emergency Department. Dr. Leibe speaks both English and Spanish, allowing her to care for our diverse population.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Leibe provides trauma and acute care surgery and sees patients for conditions such as hernias, colon surgery, breast surgery, melanoma, and benign and malignant diseases of the small and large bowel.
Dr. Leibe was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare, having grown up with parents who were both nurses. She loves the ability to be able to improve a patient’s quality of life and overall well-being through surgery.
Dr. Leibe grew up in Oakland, CA and when she was ready to make a change and plant roots, she chose Mendocino County for its landscape and the small-town, family-oriented feel.

I always feel seen and heard by Dr. Leibe. Dr. Leibe takes time to explain the procedure and answer any and all questions I have. I never feel rushed or burdensome. I feel very comfortable and at ease moving forward. Thank you, Dr. Leibe!

Dr. Leibe listens well, is caring, very knowledgeable, explains things so a layman can understand, and she has a great sense of humor that helps to alleviate patient nervousness.

The doctor was very nice. She did a poor job communicating that she would not do the procedure without anesthesia or sedative. I learned of the situation through the person, scheduling the date and going over the procedure and process.
