Biografía
Jessica’s path toward her career as a certified nurse midwife started when she was a teen in a veterinary clinic, assisting with animal C-sections. That experience led to doula classes and volunteering at a birth center. “I fell in love with pregnancy and birth,” she says.
“I enjoy seeing patients of all ages — from teens to women in the menopausal years,” Jessica says. “I like making intimidating procedures easier, and I especially love helping patients advocate for themselves.” Her services include prenatal and postpartum care, first trimester ultrasound, colposcopy, contraception care, annual gynecological exams, pap smears and more.
Jessica, her husband and their two children live on a farm in San Luis Obispo County with “50 farm animal pets,” she says, including goats, sheep, alpacas and emus. She enjoys fiber arts, camping, cooking and gardening.
