I felt unheard and unseen. I also felt that I was being ridiculed for my gait when Dr. Slack mimicked my walking as if I had no idea how the pain I was feeling has affecting my gait. I had brought what I thought was useful information that was not looked at or discussed.

Dr. Slack is an excellent lister. She gives me her full attention. From the moment she walks Into the exam room I feel as if I am her only patient. She was great, listened to me, didn't immediately take out a prescription pad. Offered suggestions as to what may be cause and didn't disregard Eastern Medicine options.

Dr Slack is superb!

I've been a patient of Dr. Slack since the mid 1980's, following her from one location to the next as she pursued her career. I choose my medical coverage based upon who accepts her as a preferred provider. The primary reasons for my continued loyalty are her professional competence and her ability to listen and allow me to have input regarding my own health decisions. There's a mutual respect between us that is rare.

Dr Slack listens to my concerns and advocates for me. I like her very much.

My visit to Adventist was for a "Well Visit", and as such, had a very general focus, but the one semi-acute concern I raised received scant attention.

Dr. Slack is very efficient and thorough.

Not at all personable, seemed uninterested, one comment I made was completely ignored. Anything I tried to inject was basically not responded to. I felt zero care or empathy. Unfriendly, I don't recall them even smiling. I left feeling like I had done something wrong, it was unsettling.
