Gregory Brown, MD, PhD, is a board-certified physician specializing in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. An esteemed surgeon with decades of experience, he’s passionate about alleviating pain and improving patients’ quality of life.
Prior to pursuing medicine, Dr. Brown trained in engineering and biomechanics. During those years, he grew increasingly fascinated by the musculoskeletal system.
“The human body is an interesting machine from an engineer’s perspective,” he says.

He commonly treats anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, knee meniscus tears, rotator cuff tears, and bone fractures, among many other orthopedic injuries and concerns.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Brown enjoys walking, listening to audiobooks, scuba diving, and dragon boat racing. He and his wife have four adult children and one grandchild.
