Greg R Decker, PhD

Board certified by the California Board of Psychology, Dr. Decker has provided patients mental health care for nearly 20 years. His patients include those with depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and more. He is dedicated to helping each of them improve their mental health and quality of life.
He also offers a range of care from crisis intervention and psychological evaluation to therapy for individuals, couples and families.
“I am drawn to the field through the service of helping individuals make intentional daily decisions in their lives,” he said. “As they learn to live lives closer to their values, they often show an increased sense of peace and meaning.”
Dr. Decker earned his doctorate in psychology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence followed by an internship with the university’s counseling and psychological services program. Prior to his internship, he completed a practicum, which provided experience with diverse populations, including female inmates, adolescents and veterans.
Throughout his career, Dr. Decker has continued to expand his knowledge and clinical skills with extensive specialized training in cultural and medical areas of concern. Among them are bullying, eating disorders, suicide, self-mutilation and opioid addition to name just a few.
He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
