Gabino Perez, Jr., FNP

Gabino Perez is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in hematology and oncology who’s passionate about caring for his community. Raised in Delano, Gabino saw firsthand how a shortage of doctors can impact the health of rural communities. He pursued medicine to make a difference. In his field, Gabino manages care for patients with various types of cancer and supports their overall quality of life. In his field, Gabino provides care for patients with both benign and malignant hematologic conditions, including anemia, thrombocytopenia, and neutropenia, as well as individuals undergoing cancer treatment. He cares for patients 18 and older and is committed to a whole-person approach that supports physical health, emotional resilience, and quality of life throughout each stage of treatment. He is fluent in English and Spanish. When not at work, Gabino enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, exercising and training his Weimaraner hunting dog, Rosie.
