Biografía
Dr. Suraweera is a specialist in gastroenterology and an advocate for the highest level of patient care. In addition to treating common and chronic conditions affecting the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and biliary system, he emphasizes a patient first approach to medical care and focuses on continued improvement of healthcare delivery to patients.
Throughout his education and career, Dr. Suraweera has had a strong interest in research, which continues to this day. Much of his research is considered pioneering, and he is often invited to share his work with the medical community by publishing frequently in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national conferences.
He enjoys spending time with friends and family traveling, hiking, camping and experiencing new foods.
