Biografía
Dr. Ojala is a general surgeon who cares for children and adults, ages 3 and older.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Ojala sees patients for conditions such as hernias, colon cancer, small bowel obstruction, and provides trauma and acute care surgery including gall bladder surgery, appendectomy and screening colonoscopy.
Dr. Ojala was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare, having joined many medical missions internationally while he was in college and saw the need.
Dr. Ojala loves the opportunity to make a real difference in helping regain function for his patients and improving their quality of life. He grew up in rural Sumner, Washington, south of Seattle and chose Mendocino County for the opportunity to plant roots in a beautiful space with a family oriented, small-town feel. He and his wife, also a general surgeon are excited to get to know their new community.

Dr. Ojala was absolutely incredible. He took the time to fully explain my condition and answered all my questions with total knowledge and quite a sense of humor. He used a poster on the wall that greatly helped me further understand my condition. He was most kind and considerate.
