Biografía
Family nurse practitioner Courtney Craigan sees adult patients for a variety of primary care needs. She has a particular interest in obesity weight management, women’s health, preventive cardiology and geriatric care.
Courtney was inspired to work in medicine because she wants to help others and provide preventive care. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University, and she values working as a team and providing evidence-based care.
Originally from Scotland, Courtney is fluent in French and enjoys kiteboarding, skiing, fishing, biking and hiking. Her family includes a teenage son, a dog and a cat.

We discussed potential needs for other doctors (podiatrist and one for osteoarthritis) and she will be willing to give me a referral if and when I choose to make those appointments.

My visit was ok, but I waited a long time.I took the time to share a lot of my history - hoping for feedback and interaction and there was really none given. No feedback on how we could evaluate some of my past health issues, my concerns now or in the future. Basically no recommended testing for those topics I brought up in my history and discussion about most importantly if my present test came back positive for an infection what we might be able to do. Instead focus was on tests I have never chosen to take that aren't relevant to my present concerns. Because I waited so long and my present health problem/ infection I became fatigued and was unable to direct the conversation back to (how can I get a physical by an internist? How can I get a referral to a neurologist? How can we treat my present infection? How can we address my issues as to why I might have my present infection? Should we be looking at my hormone levels? She didn't ask me any questions about my present health or engage in my present or further health care. She spent all her time in front of the computer and typing and then the time ran out. I want to reschedule and see an internist and get a real physical and get really evaluated in my health care.

I needed my doctor to help me get a scooter. She had everything going before I knew it. That was a very nice thing that she did for me. Made me very very happy
