Acerca de Courtney Ann Eastman

Biografía

Courtney is a certified physician assistant with clinical and surgical experience in spine, general orthopedics, rheumatology, and interventional physical medicine and rehabilitation. She genuinely cares about her patients’ health, and she loves having the opportunity to educate them so they can better understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

In her current role, Courtney evaluates patients with neck and back pain to determine the most likely cause of the symptoms and appropriate treatment options available. These conditions include spinal stenosis, myelopathy, facet arthropathy, discogenic neck/back pain, and sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction. She is inspired by the improvement she sees in her patients’ health following guided physical therapy, surgery, or therapeutic injections.

Courtney is originally from Los Angeles, California. She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, traveling, and baking.

Ms Courtney Eastman, PA-C is not friendly, warm or inviting. She is cold & never smiles & rarely makes eye contact. She becomes annoyed when I ask questions or make comments. Neurosurgery is a field that delivers probably 80% BAD, DEVASTATING & TERRIFYING NEWS. This requires the drs, PAs, NPs & non-licensed office staff to be welcoming, warm, comforting, reassuring & they should let EACH pt know that they are glad they are there. If I didn't know better, I would take Ms Eastman's demeanor, rudeness, coldness & annoyance with me PERSONALLY - meaning she only treats ME this way & not other pts. Why she would single me out, why she would dislike only me makes no sense. You'll have to ask her about that. I was sent there to have my C-spine assessed - what's left of It. However, my ENTIRE SPINE FROM C-1 TO S-1 IS GONE. She refused to even review the Xray & MRI reports I brought (twice) regarding my L spine. The spine Is one continuous system & all bad areas will affect the entire spine. During the appt, she suddenly began to discuss a terrifying & dangerous surgical procedure (no name given) that can either be done via the front of the neck/throat or the back of the neck. They "clean out stuff" & then put in metal & screws & spacers & wait for things to fuse ... Which takes over 1 yr. No risks were mentioned nor all the the things that can go wrong. Could I become a quadriplegic? Will I ever be able to have full ROM to my neck again? No conservative options were offered. She also did NOT offer any in-office treatments to temporarily relieve the horrible pain I'm in (steroid, hyaluronic acid injections, etcl). The last 5 years have been a medical hell for me with 5 chronic ollness, a FAILED TKR & then cancer. The prospect of a terrifying NEURO surgery Is more than I can handle right now.
