Biografía
Claudia Roxana Carranza, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who loves building relationships with her patients and helping them enhance their well-being.
Born in Peru, Dr. Carranza’s road to medicine was long. She moved to the U.S. at 17 and enrolled in community college English classes until she understood enough to enroll in biology and chemistry classes.
Once she began shadowing healthcare providers, she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for others. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Carranza cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, women’s health and more.
Outside the office, Dr. Carranza enjoys swimming, dancing and weightlifting. She’s married to her medical school sweetheart, and together, they have one son and two large rescue dogs.
She’s fluent in English and Spanish.
