I drive across town to see Dr. Carr. It's been 10 years since I started seeing him. He has been instrumental in my recovery and I will not change doctors.

Dr. Carr clarified my cardiology options, helped me to sort out my options, and supported the course I chose. Stark contrast to Dr appts which are goal oriented and transactional. Emphasis on me being decisionmaker, without offering information, context or support for my decisions.

Dr Carr was very thoughtful. I felt like I was treated with respect. He took the time to explain things in a way that I understood.. Yet he didn't talk down to me. I very much appreciated him.
