Breanna Baraff, family nurse practitioner, empowers patients to be engaged and active participants in their healthcare. Her area of focus is preoperative medicine. She helps patients prepare for surgery and promotes positive outcomes and recovery. Baraff earned her master’s degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In the preoperative clinic, her goal is to reduce complications for patients so they get better quickly. Baraff enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, reading, playing tennis and exploring the great outdoors.

Breanna was incredible. Throughout my cancer journey I've been bounced from one doctor to another with no clear lead, until Breanna stepped up. While dealing with my medical issue she took the initiative to call all my treatment providers to coordinate appointments and/or treatment options. Very grateful she's on my team!

Pre-Op Medicine Clinic: The nurse was very thorough in going thru my meds and supplements that I take. The Doctor was very thorough in telling me (and putting it in the handout notes) what I needed to discontinue before the surgery! Thanks!
