Biografía
Brandy Counts, FNP-C, joined the Adventist Health and Rideout Bariatric Surgery Team, following 17 years of nursing experience in intensive care, and three years as a nurse practitioner in intensive care.
Originally from Kentucky, her passion for healthcare began at a young age as she saw the access to care issues facing rural areas. What Brandy enjoys most about bariatric surgery is helping patients improve their overall health by making lifelong changes. Following her patients before and after surgery and seeing their transformations in their overall health has been a constant reward and source of inspiration to her. When she is not caring for her patients, Brandy enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling, listening to podcasts and reading.
