Ather Mehboob, M.D., specializes in medical oncology/hematology at the Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center in downtown Bakersfield. Dr. Mehboob is passionate about caring for his patients and hopes to give them courage and support during their treatments.
Dr. Mehboob comes from a long line of doctors; his mother, and his two older sisters are all doctors. He chose to continue the tradition. Mehboob is excited to be back on the West Coast and in Bakersfield and closer to his family. Dr. Mehboob also enjoys picking up a camera and capturing amazing moments. He has even won some photography awards.
