Alicia Hernandez Punsalan, NP

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Alicia Hernandez Punsalan provides clinically expert care in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Growing up in an area without proper access to quality healthcare, she was inspired to pursue a career focused on helping people get care without barriers. In addition to her nursing practice, she serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing.

Alicia helps adults ages 18 and older with prenatal and postpartum care, routine gynecological wellness exams, contraceptive care, and more. She is skilled in procedures such as endometrial biopsies, in office polypectomies, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon insertions and removals, and colposcopies.

Originally from Dinuba, California, Alicia enjoys cycling, running, gardening, and reading fantasy romance. She is married to her college sweetheart, and they have two daughters. In addition to English, Alicia is fluent in Spanish.
